Scrubs is able to deliver specialized diagnostics to your doorstep. We offer a variety of important but hard to find diagnostic tools for patients and practitioners. Analysis is performed in accredited labs, and an in-depth report is provided for each test. Additional follow-up consults can be arranged with a Scrubs functional medicine expert for an additional charge.

Keeping the balance between good and bad bacteria is essential for optimal immunity, digestion, and overall health. Assessing GI can be especially helpful for those who have vague symptoms that they have been unable to previously diagnose, as well as conditions including inflammatory bowel disease and chronic fatigue syndrome.

The Harmony test from Dynacare is the premier non-invasive prenatal screen for the presence of chromosomal and genetic conditions in the fetus, including Downs Syndrome (trisomy 21) and two other rare genetic disorders: Edward’s Syndrome/trisomy 18 and Patau Syndrome/trisomy 13). The test can also determine the fetal sex (gender) if desired. Testing is performed with one vial of blood from the mother and can be done as early as ten weeks into the pregnancy. Results come back within 7 to 10 days.

Treatments
Your test results will be provided to you directly by the Scrubs care team, with a detailed report from the laboratory conducting the test. You may also book a follow-up consult with a Scrubs Nurse Practitioner, who is trained in primary care and functional medicine. Referrals to specialists may be provided.
